Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, has an immediate opportunity for an Account Specialist to support our for a global medical device organization in El Segundo.
1 Year Contract Role Hybrid $22 –$ 25.00/Hr. depending on qualifications.
Summary:
The Account Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for corporate tax payer identification numbers, which is crucial for financial reporting and audits.
This role involves correcting accounts in the database that are missing Tax ID certificates. The position contributes to making informed business decisions and enhances the overall integrity of the company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Correct accounts in the database that are missing Tax ID certificates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for financial reporting and audits.
Assist with finalizing a new process for obtaining Tax IDs at the time of setting up a new account.
This is a customer-facing position directly impacting the customer experience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the compliance department for Tax ID processing.
Make outbound ACD calls and emails to customers to obtain updated Tax ID information.
Conducts situational research for customer problem resolution and escalates for root cause analysis as appropriate.
Teams up with Shared Services Supervisor to update and Maintain Tax ID Documentation.
Partners with cross-functional departments to resolve customer issues and questions.
Attend and engage in department-level meetings and team huddles.
Excellent interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, excellent problem-solving skills and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to consistently manage the customer experience in a professional and courteous manner.
Possesses exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and multi-task are critical.
Knowledge, Qualifications & Requirements:
Associates degree with 2+ years previous customer service and call center experience
Bachelors degree with 1 year customer service experienceCompany Description
