Dental Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our dental team. This role involves preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, maintaining accurate patient records, and supporting front desk operations to ensure a smooth and welcoming patient experience. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Support
Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
Set up trays and materials for dental treatments
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
Record treatment details and patient information in dental records
Take and develop dental x-rays
Collect and document patients’ medical and dental histories, including vital signs
Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist
Assist in handling dental or medical emergencies
Fabricate temporary crowns and impressions from preliminary molds
Make preliminary impressions for study models and bite registrations
Pour, trim, and polish study models
Clean and polish removable dental appliances
Monitor and manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Front Desk Support
Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule and confirm appointments
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Handle patient check-out, including billing and collecting payments
Verify insurance information and assist with claims processing
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Additional Duties
Perform other related duties as assigned
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
Education: Certificate from an accredited Dental Assistant program
Experience: 1–2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience with dental software and insurance processes preferred
Full-time
