Overview

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience operating injection molding machines, a strong understanding of the plastics manufacturing process, and hands-on experience with mold changes. This role is crucial for producing high-quality plastic components while ensuring efficiency and safety in the production environment.

Duties

Operate and monitor injection molding machines, troubleshoot issues, and provide assistance to minimize downtime.

Set up molds and adjust machine settings for optimal production output.

Perform mold insert changes and version updates, ensuring correct date codes and configuration accuracy.

Assist with setting up auxiliary equipment.

Program robotic material handling systems and injection molding machines for efficient and accurate operation.

Support Maintenance Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment.

Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Proven experience with plastics injection molding processes and mold changes is essential.

High School Diploma required.

Experience working with large machines.

Experience with robotics is a plus.

Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Mechanical and technical aptitude.

Ability to work flexible hours.
