Job Description

CALL-A-RIDE of GREENWICH, INC. is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1975. It offers free door-to-door transportation services for ambulatory senior citizens in Greenwich who are over 60 years old. Three cars are available Monday through Friday to provide rides within the Town of Greenwich for various purposes, including visits to doctors, drug stores, attorneys, banks, shopping, hair appointments, election polls, the Greenwich Senior Center, and social visits with friends.

Call-A-Ride of Greenwich, Inc. is hiring a part-time dispatcher/scheduler. Responsibilities include receiving calls from residents needing rides in addition to giving information to drivers as needed.

Requirements:

· Candidates should be motivated and willing to learn. We need someone who is reliable, flexible, and demonstrates good judgment.

Must have great communication skills (writing, speaking, e-mails).

Dispatcher / scheduling experience a plus.

Good time management, organizational skills and detail oriented.

· Proficient in MS Office, Google Maps, and basic Salesforce knowledge.

Ability to work independently in a changing environment.

Proof of Identity and authorized to work in the United States

Must be at least 25 years old

Driver's License (Required)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Dispatching daily routes to volunteer drivers,

· Creating and maintaining monthly calendar, attention to accuracy, monitor driver logs, keep records.

· MUST be comfortable working independently in an office setting

· Provide Excellent Customer Service
