HVAC Service Technician – Residential & Commercial

Location: Sarasota, FL (Service area: Sarasota down to Punta Gorda and up to Ruskin)

We’re looking for an experienced, customer-focused HVAC Technician who takes pride in their craft and enjoys solving problems. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating and cooling systems for both residential and commercial clients. What You'll Be Doing:

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems across homes and commercial properties

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure peak system performance

Diagnose issues quickly and recommend smart, cost-effective solutions

Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

Educate customers on system use, energy-saving tips, and maintenance best practices

Clearly explain repair vs. replacement options to help clients make informed decisions

Maintain accurate service records, including time, parts, and work performed

Follow all safety guidelines and company protocols

Respond to emergency calls and participate in the on-call rotation

Work closely with teammates to boost efficiency and exceed customer expectations

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED required; HVAC certification or technical degree preferred

At least 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience (residential + commercial)

Solid understanding of HVAC systems and strong troubleshooting skills

Ability to read/interpret wiring diagrams and technical documents

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Comfortable working solo or as part of a team

Physically able to lift equipment and work in confined spaces when needed

Work Schedule:

Full-time with rotating night/weekend availability for emergency calls
