Warehouse Saw Operator 1st SHIFT ONLY

Job Description

SB Specialty Metals LLC has an opening for warehouse saw operators and material handlers in our Troy, MI facility. Starting pay at $21.00 per hour. The position currently available for 1st shift - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm - 8 hour days, a 5 day work week - opening is for:

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND VERIFICATION AND MEDICAL PHYSICAL/DRUG TEST

We are a Specialty Metals supplier – focusing on the sales and distribution of tool steel, high speed steel, powder metallurgy steel, alloy steel and stainless steel.

We have a network of service centers strategically located throughout the United States to service the industrial markets. SBSM supplies the major manufacturing industries. We are looking for team members to help us continue to expand our business. This position will be responsible for the cutting of steel to order specifications, to perform material handling duties and shipping and receiving functions.

Required qualifications are as follows:

Minimum Education High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preference given to individuals with saw operation experience & Industrial Warehousing experience.

Strong mathematical skills

Familiar with decimals & fractions

Must have ability to measure & read instruments
