Sales Representative Insurance Agent

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative for Personal Lines to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling auto, home, renters, and other personal insurance policies to individuals and families. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, is goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced sales environment. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and generate new leads through phone calls, walk-ins, referrals, and online inquiries.

Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate personal line insurance products including Auto, Homeowners, Renters, Condo, and Umbrella policies.

Provide accurate insurance quotes and explain policy features, benefits, and coverage options.

Customize insurance programs to suit individual customer needs.

Maintain knowledge of industry trends, underwriting guidelines, and company products.

Achieve and exceed sales goals and performance targets.

Build lasting relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the policy life cycle.

Maintain detailed and organized records in the agency management system (AMS/CRM).

Follow up on policy renewals and cross-sell additional lines of business.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required); college degree preferred.

Active Property & Casualty Insurance License in [State] (or willingness to obtain).

Minimum 1 year of insurance sales or customer service experience preferred.

Bilingual (English and Spanish or other language) preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer proficiency and comfort using quoting software and CRM systems
