Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Swiss Lathe Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Swiss-style CNC lathes (e.g., Citizen, Star, Tsugami) and will be responsible for producing high-precision parts to tight tolerances.
Responsibilities:
· Operate and monitor CNC Swiss-style lathes to produce precision components.
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
· Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
· Perform minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues during production.
· Maintain tooling and ensure machine cleanliness and efficiency.
· Document production information and maintain quality records.
· Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams as needed.
· Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
· 2+ years of experience operating CNC Swiss lathes (Citizen, Star, Tsugami, etc.).
· Strong understanding of G-code programming and machine setup.
· Ability to read mechanical blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
