Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Operations Specialist to support our Fleet department through accurate inventory control and administrative oversight of parts, invoices, and asset data. This role plays a key part in maintaining fleet efficiency, cost control, and data accuracy.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, with a background in inventory management and shop/warehouse operations. This is not an entry-level role—candidates must bring at least two years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing parts.

Perform physical and digital inventory counts; identify and report discrepancies.

Develop and manage a stock order process for fleet shops.

Track, analyze, and report on inventory data; make recommendations to the Fleet Manager.

Maintain fleet asset inventory database, including registration and technical data.

Process daily invoicing: create purchase requisitions, research and resolve invoice issues, and verify pricing.

Administer warranty claims for parts and track payments/credits.

Monitor obsolete inventory and coordinate proper disposal.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in an inventory-related role.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with digital data entry systems and inventory databases.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

High attention to detail; able to identify and resolve data variances quickly.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse/shop environment.

High School Diploma or GED (required).

Budget tracking or cost control experience is a plus.

Must be willing to travel up to 10% for inventory audits.Company Description
