Automation Equipment Program Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Equipment Program Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the management and delivery of Automation equipment in the Auto Industry in North America.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage automotive interior system design programs from initial concept through launch

Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA, adhering to OEM standards

Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability

Track and manage program timelines, deliverables, BOMs, and documentation

Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects

Interface with OEM and Tier 1 customers for design reviews, status updates, and technical discussions.

Coordinate design validation, prototype build support and change management activities

Identify and mitigate program risks while driving continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive design and/or program management

Proficiency in CATIA (Part Design, Assembly, Drafting, and Surface Workbench)

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment

Familiarity with tooling, materials, and manufacturing processes used in automotive applicationsCompany Description
