Metrology Technician

Job Description

Aegis is seeking a Metrology Technician to join our clients organization for a contract period. (3-6 months long). The ideal candidate has the following experience:

1-3+ years of experience in a Calibration role

Pharmaceutical industry is HIGHLY preferred – this department is in remediation and maintaining ISO compliance.

Experience troubleshooting instruments, sensors, gauges, and other laboratory equipment

Background with GDP (Good Documentation Practices) and maintenance of internal SOP’s

Understanding of FDA regulations and clean room (aseptic pharma) manufacturing practices

Pluses:

Experience working within a Calibration Management software would be a bonus

Equipment this person might have knowledge of that would be helpful:

PH Meters, Flow Meters, Balances, HPLC systems, Gas Chromatography Units, Autoclaves, Sterilizers, Pressure Gauges, Temperature and Humidity Sensors, and Flow Meters
