Position Summary:

Provide leadership and account management to profitably grow revenues in the Columbus, Ohio market. The position focuses on identifying opportunities, executing targeted sales activities, and securing high-quality orders for systems, services, and components, while managing client relationships. This role requires industry knowledge, solution development skills, and strong internal and external communication to ensure successful project implementation and long-term customer satisfaction. The representative will also provide actionable feedback to management to improve operations and offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute tactical sales activities including lead follow-up, cold calls, proposal development, and client meetings.

Conduct site visits to obtain and document detailed system requirements.

Lead the creation and delivery of sales proposals tailored to client needs.

Represent YellowLite at trade shows, workshops, and industry forums.

Present YellowLite’s value proposition to small and large audiences.

Provide consistent sales forecasts and market insights related to marketing, products, and operations.

Ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded throughout the sales and delivery cycle.

Manage interactions between the customer, YellowLite staff, and business partners for professional and timely project execution.

Key Accountabilities:

Meet or exceed commercial sales revenue goals by identifying and closing deals with new and existing clients.

Understand the customer’s business and service requirements and develop tailored system solutions.

Effectively communicate YellowLite’s product and service offerings to match customer needs.

Document system specifications and client expectations and communicate them clearly to the design and installation teams.

Monitor project execution to ensure satisfaction and quality standards are achieved.

Establish each client as a referenceable account for future business.

Ideal Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in commercial or nonprofit sales and account management roles.

Solid understanding of solar systems and key design considerations.

Familiarity with sustainable building technologies and energy efficiency concepts.

Proven success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Demonstrated experience in developing and executing account plans.

Skilled in providing ongoing client support and managing long-term relationships.

Comfortable engaging with senior-level decision makers and cross-functional stakeholders.

Capable of creating ROI and cost justification proposals for renewable energy systems.

Proficient in communication, financial analysis, and presentation tools.

History of professional presence, business acumen, and conflict resolution capabilities.
