Oncology - Medical Oncology Physician

Job Opportunity: Physician - Oncology in Coos Bay, OR

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Medical Oncologist and/or Hematologist to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon. Job Responsibilities:

Accepting part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates.

BE (within 2 years) / BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology required.

Preferred experience in Radiation Oncology or an excellent recent graduate.

Manage an outpatient clinic with 10-15 patients per day.

Conduct only outpatient clinic visits; no inpatient consults.

Utilize a state-of-the-art, new 19-chair infusion room.

Collaborate with onsite mixing pharmacy and nurse navigation.

Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, primarily critical lab calls.

Engage in leading-edge clinical trials affiliated with Oregon Health & Sciences University.

Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.

Willingness to obtain an Oregon state medical license.

Experience in Radiation Oncology is highly preferred.

BLS certification or willingness to obtain.

Must have ties to Oregon, such as family or prior residence in the state.

Clean background with no malpractice claims is highly preferred. License and Certification Requirements:

Current Oregon medical license or willingness to obtain - Required

BLS - Required
