One of our clients, a globally recognized manufacturing company, is looking to hire an Operations Test Engineer. The Engineer`s primary role is to design and build new testing equipment and improve existing instruments.
Duties include:
Designing and assembling customized equipment from conception to completion
Interacting with all departments to obtain product specifications to design equipment
Model customized fittings, adapters, assemblies, enclosures, panels, tools, etc.
Utilizing six sigma lean tools to test and adjust equipment
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and RSLogix 500, and RSLogix 5000
Experience with C-More Micro HMIs and programming software
Experience with ANSYS SpaceClaim 2016+ and Autodesk Inventor 2017+
Familiarity with Pneumatics and Air (or other inert gases), Pneumatics for Oxygen, and Oxygen safety practices
Electrical wiring (DC and AC)
Experience with lean and six sigma principles
Bachelor`s degree in Computer, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering
2-3 years of automation/controls or related engineering experience
Ability to read, interpret and understand specifications and schematics
Proficiency in MS Office
Experience with CAD software and Microsoft Visio
