Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This role is ideal for professionals with several years of hands-on experience in systems analysis and design, who are ready to take on more complex projects, work independently, and serve as a critical liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. The primary focus of this role will be leveraging Microsoft administration capabilities to enhance customer's identity management, compliance, secure posture, and access control. This position also includes participation in our on-call support rotation.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage and administer Microsoft 365 environment, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams
Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365 issues, including user access, connectivity, and performance issues
Lead requirements gathering sessions for complex business systems.
Design and recommend enhancements, improvements, or entirely new systems.
Develop detailed technical specifications and user stories for development teams.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.
Conduct system and integration testing to ensure performance and reliability.
Train end-users and provide ongoing support during system rollouts.
Perform in-depth data analysis to support business decisions.
Document system designs, technical specifications, and user manuals.
Responds to and completes Help Desk Tickets.
Monitor system performance and lead initiatives to enhance reliability and functionality.
Participating in after-hours on-call rotation.
Participates in Change Management processes and implementation planning
Provide 2nd tier troubleshooting and support to end-users.
Performing other duties as directed by the IT Manager.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required. Experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
Minimum of 3 years experience in hardware and Microsoft Server OS management in a networked environment, systems analysis, IT business analysis, or a related technical field.
KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT
Growing and advanced knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Azure), SQL, and business and enterprise applications.
Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure administration
Azure Active Directory Administration a plus
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies and best practices, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Teams
General understanding of networks and IT infrastructure.
In-depth knowledge of other Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Autopilot, Defender, MFA and conditional access, GDAP.
On-prem and hybrid knowledge of current cloud technologies (Azure, Google)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), basic diagramming tools like Visio, and fundamental SQL.
Strong ability to interpret and translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
Certification in Microsoft Azure Cloud is a plus
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
Proficiency with Visio or similar diagramming tools, monitoring software, or database query tools.
