ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are included, and other duties may be assigned as production demands may require.
-Weighs in ingredient trucks and sends them to the proper pit to unload and then reweighs them.
-Unloads rail cars of corn and soy. Sometimes a sledge hammer has to be used to get it to fall.
-Drives the shuttle wagon to push and pull rail cars to and from the rail pits to unload. This could be one or up to 6 cars at a time.
-Transfers corn and soy from one side of the receiving area to the other side into the tanks closest to the mill whenever needed.
-Dayshift receiver does an inventory of mill ingredients in the mornings to keep up with what is used from day to day.
-Gets samples of ingredients in whirl pack bags to send to lab.
Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.
