Qualifications:

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) in School Social Work

Experience working with young children, particularly in an educational setting

Strong munication and interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents

Knowledge of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) frameworks

Responsibilities:

Provide social work services to a caseload of approximately 33 students, focusing on their individual needs

Collaborate with the PDT team for student evaluations, eligibility meetings, and service reporting

Conduct student check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a supportive transition throughout the school day

Develop and implement SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) building activities

Monitor and support MTSS students and staff, fostering an inclusive learning environment
