Job Description
Plaintiffs' Class Action Litigation Attorney (Two Openings – Mid-Level and Junior)
Nashville, TN (Hybrid/Remote Options Available)
MB Attorney Search has been exclusively retained by a nationally respected plaintiffs' law firm to recruit two dynamic Litigation Attorneys to join its expanding Class Action Practice.
About the Opportunity
A prominent plaintiffs' firm with deep roots in consumer class action litigation is growing its litigation team due to a significant increase in complex casework. The firm seeks two attorneys:
A mid-level associate (3–7+ years) who can independently manage a line of class action cases; and
A junior associate (2–5 years) who will receive hands-on training and mentorship while contributing meaningfully to the litigation team.
Why This Role Is Different
This is not your typical “Big Law” litigation role. At this firm, you'll be part of a collaborative, trial-tested team that is serious about mentoring, committed to doing meaningful work, and able to give attorneys the space and trust to manage their own dockets. You'll never be micromanaged—but you will be expected to lead, organize, and own your role.
Who You Are
You're a smart, organized, and relentless litigator—someone who loves the law, thrives in a fast-paced practice, and is ready to advocate for real people in high-impact class actions. If you're tired of defense work and ready to align your talents with your values, this is your opportunity. If you're currently doing plaintiff's work, and consumer class action work excites you, this is your chance to make that transition.
Ideal Background
Mid-Level Associate:
3–7+ years of litigation experience (consumer class action or other plaintiffs' work preferred)
Proven ability to manage case files, draft briefs, coordinate with co-counsel, and lead strategy discussions
Comfortable running a docket with minimal supervision
Experience handling discovery, depositions, and court filings
Strong writing skills and ability to offer practical solutions
Junior Associate:
2–5 years of litigation experience
Eager to learn class action practice from seasoned litigators
Excellent research and writing skills
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational capability
Growth mindset and ability to take feedback constructively
The Work
This is volume-based class action litigation with real teeth. Attorneys may work on:
Data breach, financial services, and deceptive trade practices cases
Coordinating with co-counsel across jurisdictions
Managing multiple cases with fast-moving timelines
Preparing for mediations, hearings, and trials
The Firm
Founded over 70 years ago, this firm is a leader in plaintiffs' class action litigation across the South. The team values professionalism without ego, autonomy with accountability, and collaboration with mutual respect. This is a place where attorneys stick around—partnership is real, turnover is low, and mentorship is built into the culture.
Location & Flexibility
While the preference is for Nashville-based attorneys, remote arrangements are possible for the right candidate. The firm also has offices in St. Louis and Las Vegas. Hybrid schedules and courtroom travel are part of the practice.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is commensurate with experience and performance.
Benefits include:
Premium health plan (no premium/copay for dependents)
HSA contributions
401(k) with automatic employer match
Profit-sharing plan (5–12% annually)
Vision, dental, LTD, CLEs, paid phone/laptop
Generous support from a dedicated litigation paralegal team
