Qualifications:

Current ISBE Approval as a Sign Language Interpreter

Minimum 3.0 EIPA score for temporary approval

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with middle school students, is preferred

Strong interpersonal and munication skills

Responsibilities:

Provide interpretation services for the 7th-grade student, facilitating munication between the student and teachers.

Collaborate with educational staff to support the student's learning needs.

Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities as required.

Maintain confidentiality and ply with all relevant regulations regarding student information.

Develop and implement strategies to enhance munication and social interaction for the student.
