Job Description
The role of the Receiver involves maintaining regular and punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule. You are expected to follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions, while wearing and maintaining proper personal equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities
Read and interpret advanced aerospace blueprints.
Maintain part configuration and tagging as appropriate.
Conduct visual inspection of received and outgoing products.
Replenish shipping department supplies.
Operate and maintain shipping equipment and machinery.
Transport, store, and maintain Customer Owned Packaging (C.O.P.).
Perform freight packaging and documentation.
Work in a fast-paced environment to meet production and quality goals.
Study production schedules and estimate delivery times.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Mentor and train other employees.Essential Skills
1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience.
Experience operating sit down forklifts.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Detail-oriented and quick learner.
Strong leadership skills with ability to speak in front of a group.
Basic computer skills including scanning work orders and looking up technique sheets.
Excellent vision including normal color vision.
Knowledge of a variety of packing materials and ability to use them appropriately.
Ability to interpret advanced aerospace blueprint drawings.
Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, & divide).
Ability to perform basic in-process inspection duties.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good communication skills with ability to represent the company positively.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing facility for coatings of aerospace parts, which includes exposure to various smells of chemicals, plating baths, NDT, paint booths, and other industrial processes.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Washington.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
