Qualifications:

Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., NIC, EIPA)

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Previous experience interpreting in educational settings, particularly with middle school students

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff

Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the student and the school environment

Responsibilities:

Provide direct sign language interpretation for the assigned student, facilitating munication in the classroom

Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure effective implementation of interpretation services

Attend relevant meetings and participate in the development of the student's educational plan
