Job Title: Press Brake Operator

Job Description

This role involves reading blueprints to perform setups and operate the brake press machine in the fabrication area. As a steel supplier, the company offers a variety of services to meet client needs, including bending steel as far along in the process as necessary.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints to perform machine setups.

Operate the brake press machine efficiently in the fabrication area.

Ensure quality production by following detailed instructions and blueprints.Essential Skills

At least 6 months of experience operating machinery in a production environment.

Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and decimals.

Proficiency in using computers, specifically AS400 ERP Software, to track production output.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Education in machining or fabrication from a technical school is advantageous.

Experience in setting up machines, including installing proper tooling and adjusting machine settings.

Ability to read blueprints to accurately set up machines and produce parts.Work Environment

The role involves working on the shop floor in the fabrication area, operating the Brake Press. The position requires standing throughout the workday in a clean and organized environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
