Job Title: Kit PackerPay: $20Job Description

The Kit Packer is responsible for packaging and releasing kits, working directly from work orders, and using a scanner to verify items. This role involves setting up kits, inspecting finished products, printing labels, labeling and capping products, breaking down expired kits, and participating in annual cycle counts. Additionally, the Kit Packer will document work on spreadsheets and use a computer to navigate databases for inventory checks.

Responsibilities

Package and release kits according to work orders.

Use a scanner to verify items being pulled.

Push a cart around the facility to pick and box items.

Set up kits and inspect finished products.

Print, label, and cap products as necessary.

Break down expired kits and participate in annual cycle counts.

Document work on spreadsheets and navigate databases for inventory checks.Essential Skills

1+ year of manufacturing experience in a medical environment preferred.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to communicate well in written and verbal forms.

Ability to accurately document finished work.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in pick, pack, material handling, medical kitting, and inspection of finished goods.

Skills in labeling, cycle counting, inventory management, assembly, production, and general labor.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and well-lit medical manufacturing environment with comfortable temperatures. Some products are stored in freezers, with gloves provided as needed. Occasionally, access to a walk-in freezer is required for short periods. The facility resembles a college campus with large break rooms, ping pong areas, and workout rooms. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm and Fridays from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
