These roles are crucial in providing tailored support to students with diverse learning needs across various classroom settings, including resource, self-contained, and cross-categorical classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.

Deliver differentiated instruction aligned with IEP goals, adapting strategies for resource, self-contained, or inclusive settings.

Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to create a supportive learning atmosphere.

Utilize data to monitor student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed.

Maintain clear and ongoing munication with parents and guardians about student development and needs.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP reviews, and school-based professional development.

Qualifications:

Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Special Education Endorsement (LBS1 required).

Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.

Experience in developing and implementing IEPs.

Excellent munication and collaboration skills.

Ability to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
