Qualifications:

State of Idaho sign language interpreter certification

Previous experience working with students, particularly those with special needs

Strong background in behavioral support

Ability to collaborate effectively with special education teachers and other staff

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL)

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one interpretation services to the assigned student throughout the school day

Collaborate closely with the special education teacher to facilitate access to the curriculum

Support the student in various elective classes as needed

Adapt interpretation techniques to meet the individual needs of the student

Maintain professional munication with staff and engage in relevant team meetings
