Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Machinist who will be responsible for safely repairing production lines, providing breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting problems, performing preventative maintenance, and quality checks while being involved in continuous improvement initiatives. The position will work closely with all members of the plant including electricians, millwrights, production, and quality. The current need is on 3rd shift (11PM - 7AM) Monday-Friday. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain and operate all production and related equipment
Operate all shop equipment proficiently such as mills, lates, including but not limited, to milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, MIG welders, hand tools, etc.
Ability to train mechanical personnel in all aspects of their job functions including but not limited to troubleshooting, tool maintenance, preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, operating equipment, parts fabrication, etc.
Participate, as requested, on plant or company project teams
Maintain a safe working environment and good housekeeping/orderliness in both work and shop areas.
Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
While performing duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, push, pull, twist, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and maybe be required to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee may be required to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures and noise levels.
