JOB FUNCTION:

The Process Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all field equipment operates at peak efficiency through proactive analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts. This includes conducting routine audits (both remotely and in person), identifying opportunities for optimization, and developing clear documentation to support the training of Field Technicians. The role also includes defining and managing operational processes for assigned regions, working with cross-functional teams, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are critical.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Standardize and optimize field processes across assigned regions to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Define job scopes in collaboration with Business Development, Sales, and Regional Management.

2. Conduct audits (remote and onsite) to assess field operations, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements aligned with documented procedures. Develop and execute travel plans based on priority needs and potential impact.

3. Manage data analytics and reporting, leveraging Phoenix Equipment, Historian, and HMI/PLC trends to drive process optimization and troubleshooting.

4. Lead root cause investigations by reviewing trends, identifying deviations from PDRs and procedures, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

5. Develop and manage process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Project Description & Requirements (PDRs), and Phoenix task assignments to support operational consistency and technician training.

6. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor process effectiveness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

7. Collaborate with Field Engineering and Regional Management to ensure necessary operational data is available, trends are monitored, and continuous improvement efforts are implemented.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. Associates Degree will be considered with relevant experience.

2. Strong technical/mechanical skills. Hands-on ability is a must.

3. Candidate should have proficiency with all MS Office applications. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication.
