Job Description

This role involves spending 70% of the time within the building handling inventory, preparing shipments, and related tasks. The remaining 30% involves driving deliveries. The ideal candidate will be comfortable walking and/or driving a forklift for 50% of the day and using an ERP system to manage inventory and shipments. Responsibilities include loading and offloading on a dock and the person Gate, and safely driving, maneuvering, and backing up a 22’ box truck. Occasional driving on highways and in city environments is also required. Strong math skills, organization, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

Handle inventory and prepare shipments within the building.

Drive deliveries, spending 30% of the time on this activity.

Operate a forklift for approximately 50% of the day.

Use an ERP system for managing inventory and shipments.

Load and offload on a dock and the person Gate.

Safely drive, maneuver, and back up a 22’ box truck.

Drive occasionally on highways and in city environments.Essential Skills

Experience with forklift operations.

Proficiency in materials handling.

Familiarity with ERP systems for inventory control and management.

Shipping experience, including FedEx, UPS, and data entry.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Forklift certification is a plus.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that is temperature-controlled. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with overtime as needed for production.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
