Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

Qualifications:

Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter

Preferred EIPA score of 3.5 or higher (other scores will be considered)

Previous experience working in K-12 settings, particularly with special education students

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with educational staff and students

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)

Location:

Hubert, NC

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one sign language interpretation for students, facilitating effective munication in the classroom.

Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to ensure the needs of students are met.

Assess and assign caseloads based on individual experience and expertise.

Maintain professional standards and continue professional development in interpreting practices.

Act as a supportive resource for students and staff regarding munication access and needs.
