Job Description
As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating cranes to lift and transport stock and forging dies in and around forging presses and pre-heat furnaces. You will handle various types of steel, aluminum, and titanium, and move trim presses along with other equipment. Your role includes lifting and transporting dies and related equipment, providing crane service for changing dies, and offering input on die scheduling and adjustments at the furnace. Additionally, you will monitor die temperatures and complete die cards using the die board.
Responsibilities
Operate cranes to lift and transport stock and forging dies.
Move different types of steel, aluminum, and titanium.
Transport dies and related equipment.
Provide crane service for changing dies and equipment at presses.
Contribute to die scheduling and make adjustments as needed.
Monitor die temperatures at the furnace and adjust as required.
Complete die cards and utilize the die board.
Utilize industrial trucks for transporting dies.
Occasionally provide direction during die changes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment involves inspecting finished forged metals, with temperatures varying by season. It is a heavy industrial manufacturing setting, with metals weighing between 20 - 350 lbs, handled via crane or automated robot. Inspectors have assigned workstations and perform different quality testing, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere.

This is a Permanent position based out of Newburgh Heights, Ohio.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58000.00 - $58000.00/yr.
• Supplementary pay plan – in addition to salary OT is paid in blocks of 2 hours ($125), 4 hours ($250), 8 hours ($500)
• Will be paid $250/month for working 3rd (shift differential)
