Job Title: TIG Welder

Job Description

As a TIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding metal components to fabricate or repair products according to blueprints or work orders. You will use brazing techniques and a variety of arc and gas welding processes to ensure mechanical strength and quality. You will operate welding equipment in all positions on diverse components made of steel, stainless steel, or other metals.

Responsibilities

Weld metal components together using both gas welding and various arc welding processes.

Operate arc or gas welding equipment along with atmospheric control equipment for hand welding operations.

Ensure welded products meet specifications for mechanical strength.

Perform fitting and grinding of assembly parts as required.Essential Skills

Proficiency in welding techniques.

Ability to pass employer performance or standard tests to meet weld requirements.

Capability to perform own fitting and grinding of assembly parts.

Understanding of blueprint reading.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to learn the entire welding process.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
