Summary:

Our client is seeking an experienced Concrete Tilt-Up Superintendent to join a reputable general contractor specializing in large-scale commercial and industrial projects. With over 30 years of industry expertise, this company has earned a solid reputation for delivering complex tilt-up concrete structures, warehouses, logistics centers, and distribution facilities with precision and speed.

Job Description

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities related to tilt-up concrete construction.

Coordinate and direct subcontractors, suppliers, concrete crews, and site personnel.

Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, building codes, and structural requirements.

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring critical path milestones are met.

Oversee the setup and execution of tilt-up panel forming, casting, bracing, and erection.

Conduct daily site inspections to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to design specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to layout, equipment, logistics, or weather delays.

Communicate regularly with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and stakeholders to align project goals.

Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and quality control documentation.

Ensure all phases of the tilt-up process are completed efficiently and safely.

Qualifications & Requirements

3+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing concrete tilt-up construction projects.

In-depth knowledge of tilt-up methods, safety procedures, and structural concrete practices.

Proven ability to lead and motivate field teams under fast-paced project timelines.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adjust schedules and logistics as needed.

Proficient in reading blueprints, structural drawings, and concrete shop drawings.

Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.

Experience with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project).

OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety credentials preferred.

Willingness to travel extensively and stay on-site for the duration of projects.
