A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is sought for a full-time position in Spring Valley, NY, within an elementary school setting. This role involves working with students primarily diagnosed with developmental delays and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from kindergarten through fifth grade. The position is set to start as soon as possible and will continue through June 26, 2025, with the potential for renewal for the next school year.
Qualifications:
Valid BCBA certification
Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly those with developmental delays and ASD
Strong munication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and implement behavior intervention plans
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of educational policies and best practices related to behavior analysis

Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure effective implementation of BIPs
Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the overall educational plan for students
Maintain professional documentation and pliance with state regulations
