Job Title: Receiving Inspector
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Receiving Inspector where you will be responsible for the receipt and inspection of incoming materials for printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies in a high mix, quick-turn environment. This role requires a keen eye for detail to audit supplied materials for accuracy against the Bill of Materials (BOM), and to document and report on non-conforming materials.
Responsibilities
Audit supplied materials for accuracy against the Bill of Materials (BOM).
Identify critical component features such as part number, part value, package type, size, RoHS compliance, and special processing requirements.
Document and report non-conforming materials.
Communicate with customers regarding material issues in a professional manner.
Track inventory, count parts, and manage batch numbers.
Utilize inventory software systems for data entry and communication.
Operate equipment such as OHM meters, weigh scales, vacuum sealers, baking ovens, and inspection microscopes.
Organize and manage stockroom operations.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read and understand customer-supplied Bill of Materials (BOMs), assembly drawings, and purchase orders.
Familiarity with ESD handling procedures of sensitive electronic devices per ANSI/ESD 20.20.
Ability to identify components requiring special processing.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with inventory and stockroom management.
Quality audit and control experience.

Work Environment
You will be working in a manufacturing environment with approximately 60 employees, primarily in the assembly, soldering, and quality control departments. The inventory and kitting area consists of a five-person team. The work schedule is from 9am-5:30pm with 8-hour days and a 30-minute lunch break, shifting to a 7am start during the training period. Dress code is standard for a manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
