Job Title: ERP Implementation Developer Intern
Reports to: Senior Director, Application Systems
Purpose: This internship position supports Pacsun’s ERP Microsoft D365 implementation project, with a focus on system integrations, data mapping, and technical documentation. The intern will assist with the integration mapping exercise, participate in technical sessions to gather interface requirements for third-party applications, and collaborate closely with the implementation partner, business stakeholders, and the IT team.
This role provides a hands-on opportunity to learn Microsoft D365, one of the most widely adopted modern ERP systems, including its full Supply Chain and Financial modules. It also offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the implementation partner, business stakeholders, and the IT team. Interns will gain valuable experience in System Integration, ERP implementation, software development life cycles, and business processes in the retail and apparel industry.
This position is ideal for individuals passionate about technology retail business operations.
The role requires on-site work eight hours a day three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The Pacsun HQ is located at 3450 E Miraloma Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806.
Core Accountabilities:
Assist with the mapping exercise for Mulesoft development, ensuring alignment with project requirements and technical standards. Necessary training will be provided.
Participate in technical sessions to gather and document requirements for interfaces to third-party applications.
Collaborate with the implementation partner, business resources, and IT team to ensure a seamless flow of information and alignment on deliverables.
Analyze data flow and mapping requirements to support system integration and project goals.
Document and maintain records of project updates, including meeting notes, progress reports, and technical specifications.
Work autonomously to complete assigned tasks, providing regular updates to project leadership on progress, challenges, and resolutions.
Contribute to testing and validating system integrations and interfaces as part of the ERP project lifecycle.
A successful candidate will possess the following qualities:
Education: Enrolled in a program related to Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Systems, or a related field.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system mapping processes.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a dynamic project environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
Interest in retail business operations.
Hourly Salary Rate: $20
