Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's or chauffeur's license and possess a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Easterseals MORC motor vehicle policy.

Must possess a knowledge and understanding of co-occurring disorders (mental health & substance abuse).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Demonstrate ability to engage individuals in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery.

Providing transportation services for individuals served.

Traveling extensively to various locations throughout Michigan in the provision of transportation services for individuals served.

Complete vehicle inspection reports and reporting to supervision as required/needed.

Performing all transportation services in accordance with applicable Easterseals MORC Safety & Health policies and procedures.

Complete routine vehicle cleaning and sanitization in accordance with EM guidelines.

Demonstrates knowledge of principles of trauma informed care.

Willingness to support and assist consumers with trauma related issues.
