Job Description
**This is a full-time contractor role payable at $25 per hour**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Deskside Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, setup, configuration, and upgrading of end-user devices. Additionally, this role includes assisting with office moves, setups, and minimal data migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, repair, and upgrade end-user devices to ensure optimal functionality.
Assist with office moves and setups, ensuring seamless workstation transitions.
Perform basic data migrations as needed to support business operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
Ensure all work is documented in compliance with company standards.
Work independently or as part of a team to meet business and customer needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience in IT desktop support or end-user device management.
Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, and other end-user devices.
Familiarity with device upgrades and migrations.
Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to adapt to changing environments and work efficiently under minimal supervision.
