Operations Manager - Network and Systems Management

Overview

Responsibilities

Serve as central point of contact for any IT Operational issues.

Ensure stable operation and efficient performance of client's enterprise networks and projects. monitoring and managing all aspects of IT operations to ensure they meet performance metrics.

Provide leadership, project and activity planning, coordination, and day-to-day direction as needed, produce required deliverables and meet the relevant operations/project milestones.

Manage multiple IT teams/managers to include network, system administration, systems security, Tier 1/2 Help Desk with team ranging in size from 5-15 team members.

Analyze current operations practice to identify areas for improvement and create project management deliverables.

Provide management oversight of all other contract employees.

Foster a collaborative environment.

Work directly with client's program manager and develop an outstanding customer relationship.

Identify risks and recommend mitigation plans.

Develop and maintain staffing plan by recruiting and interviewing new contract personnel.

Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A degree in Computer Science or other IT related discipline is preferred.

Certified Project Management Professionals (PMP) is a plus.

Ten years of IT and management experience is preferred.

Excellent organization skills and attention to details.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to work independently with little to no oversight.

Minimum DoD interim Secret clearance.Company Description
