Commercial Superintendent - Ground Up Construction

Are you a natural leader who thrives on building from the ground up? We’re looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our growing team and take charge of ground-up commercial projects across the DC-to-Frederick corridor. This is your chance to be on-site, hands-on, and at the heart of projects that shape communities—particularly K-12 school builds, which we highly value (but we’re open to all strong commercial backgrounds!).

As Superintendent, you'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader, overseeing daily site operations, managing subcontractors, and driving project schedules forward. You’ll ensure jobs are done safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards—and you’ll do it all locally, so you can build your career without living out of a suitcase.

Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 (DOE)

What You’ll Do:

Lead ground-up commercial construction projects from mobilization to closeout

Oversee subcontractors, site logistics, safety, and daily schedules

Work closely with PMs, clients, and inspectors to keep everything on track

Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and job site culture

What You Bring:

5+ years of superintendent experience in commercial construction

Ground-up and/or K-12 school project experience strongly preferred

Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

A passion for building and leading from the front
