Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Unix/Linux environments, Oracle databases, and SCADA systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of software development, interface building, and control system applications, with the ability to manage the full software development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:

Shell Scripting and Programming: Utilize senior-level expertise in Unix/Linux shell scripting, including ksh, to develop and maintain robust software systems.

C Programming and Interface Development: Leverage experience in C programming to build interfaces using Oracle database data (PRO C).

Software Development Lifecycle Management: Handle all phases of software development, from preparing technical specifications to programming, testing, validation, and deployment in production environments.

Database Design and Development: Write PL/SQL code and manage Oracle database packages, triggers, views, and other objects, ensuring compatibility with Java code and new software modules.

SCADA Systems Expertise: Apply 5+ years of experience with SCADA systems, particularly Siemens Spectrum and ABB, to support control system applications and workflows.

Control Systems Applications: Develop and support software under Control Systems Applications, including the Siemens Spectrum/OMS architecture, addressing workflows, technical issues, and interfaces with other systems.Qualifications:

Experience: 5+ years of software development experience

C, C#, C++, .NET

Expertise in SCADA systems and Unix/Linux environments.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and ksh.

Strong programming skills in C and experience with PRO C.

Deep knowledge of Oracle databases, including PL/SQL and database design.

SCADA Systems Knowledge: Experience with Siemens Spectrum and ABB systems, including integration
