An international satellite service provider company is currently seeking a Satellite Services Sales - Assistant Manager, Business Development and Marketing Department to support their office in the Washington DC area. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years Sales experience and a positive, team-oriented mindset. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Responsibilities of Satellite Services Sales - Assistant Manager:

• Sales of Satellite Communication Circuits. Customer Interaction: Selling satellite communication circuits to customers, including U.S. clients. This includes assisting the Vice President (VP) in customer relations, supporting sales meetings, and building strong customer relationships.

• Sales Support: Proposing appropriate satellite communication solutions based on customer needs and supporting the contract negotiation process.

• Support for New Space-related Business Development

• Sales Support, Creation of Sales Materials: Creating sales presentations and materials related to new space-related businesses and satellite communication circuits to assist in the sales process.

• Sales Presentations and Demos

• Negotiation and Deal Closing

• Customer Relationship Management

• Sales Forecasting and Reporting

Requirements of Satellite Services Sales - Assistant Manager:

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in business development/marketing is preferred.

• Experience in the space industry (particularly in satellite communications) is preferred. However, since our space business is expanding across various fields and it is expected that understanding our corporate strategy and operations will take some time, we place more importance on a strong willingness to learn and commit to the role, so industry experience is not necessarily a requirement.

• Experience in government contract management or investment operations is preferred.

• Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clear driving record.

• Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.

• Flexibility to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

• Japanese language skills. (Preferred)
