Interior Design Project Coordinator

Job Description

Boutique Interior Design studio with a focus on Hospitality and Restaurant interior projects is seeking an Interior Designer. The ideal candidate will work with and support our Creative Director and/or Senior Designers in the concept and development of a diverse range of projects.

The primary responsibilities for this role are:

• Research visual collateral to support design concepts

• Develop programming and space plans

• Develop material and color schemes/solutions

• Generate presentation visuals

• Generate budgets

• Source materials and furnishings appropriate for project budget and timeline

• Interior detail drawings

• Document project selections/ Specification writing

• Maintain/track project execution

Ideal skills for this candidate:

• Ability to problem solve/ identify problems and bring solutions to the table

• Visual Graphic Sensibility for Design Presentations

• AutoCAD

• Sketch Up Pro

• Adobe In Design

• Adobe Photoshop

• MS Excel and Word

• Ability to read architectural floor plans, elevations and RCPs

• Knowledge of industry sourcing (furniture, interior finishing materials)

• Ability to support and work with studio team members

• Ability to coordinate with project consultants
