Test Engineer

SRK Systems, Inc. is an IT firm engaged in the business of providing data processing consulting services to major corporations, government agencies and other business concerns throughout the United States.

SRK Systems Inc. has an opening for the position of Test Engineer.

Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design testing procedures for ‘Advendio’, a product built on Salesforce platforms that operates as a one-stop shop for Meijer Media’s marketing needs to run ad campaigns for their advertisers on various onsite and offsite platforms by providing targeted audience sets to the customers.

• Develop processes to maintain testing standards for various lines of ad campaign runs like sales, operations, reporting, etc.

• Validate build quality of newer versions of software and certify build quality before they can be deployed into the existing campaign platforms.

• Develop high level estimates, Functional Test Scripts and perform requirement realization discussions with development and Business team. Provide technical expertise defining and implementing Testing Standards, Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools, and Techniques across multiple agile teams in a Line of Business.

• Follow SAFe agile methodology in development of work products. Participate in the agile sprint planning sessions, daily scrum, sprint review and retrospective meetings and prepare demos for product owners after every sprint.

• Propose business process improvements and communicate leading practices. Ensure the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the QE strategy as defined.

• Automate tests on cross-browser and cross-platform environments using tools like Selenium WebDriver API. Perform mobile app testing in Meijer mobile applications using emulators like Xcode in Mac and Android Studio.

• Coordinate with the 3rd party vendors and other teams for API integration. Provide necessary support for promotion related requests for the teams consuming the APIs and load the needed files to Azure DB. Develop Regression postman collections for the Web APIs and run them during every release. Perform DB, Integration testing between Web APIs itself as well as with POS application consuming the API.

• Perform Smoke tests, Ad-hoc testing, Functional testing, Browser compatibility tests, GUI testing, Regression testing and User Acceptance Testing to maintain complete testing lifecycles.

• Provide Post Go-Live support
