Position Overview
The Associate Director of Admission for the Butler Global Degree is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and developing recruitment pipelines for the innovative International Degree Model (IDM). This role centers on cultivating relationships with high school counselors and organizations with an international education focus. The primary goals are to design and implement a pipeline development plan, execute an effective recruitment strategy, and establish key strategic relationships that build long-term enrollment growth and success for the International Degree Model.
Responsibilities
Student Pipeline Development: Number of students in the enrollment pipeline compared to enrollment projections.
Enrollment Growth: Percentage of growth in applications and enrolled numbers in the International Degree Model. Support of goals established for undergraduate domestic or international markets as assigned.
Student Satisfaction: Measured results with the enrollment processes (ensuring reality matches or exceeds expectations) that also match the program expected experience.
Relationship Engagement & Satisfaction: Measured program satisfaction of strategic collaborators and partners actively engaged with Butler related to the International Degree Model including college counselors, enrolled students, third-party partners, and BU faculty and staff.
Enrollment Pipeline Creation: Develop and implement a recruitment strategy for target markets (domestic U.S. markets primary focus) to support enrollment goals for the International Degree Model. Assist in search and purchase options that develop the IDM prospect pool.
Outreach and Communication Strategy: Provide support for expanding Butler's brand and reputation, specifically within domestic (and international) student recruitment markets. This includes developing communication strategies to engage prospective students and parents, crafting personalized messaging, and leveraging relevant outreach channels. With the support of Enrollment Marketing, design and execute communications to connect with prospective students, potential partners, and other stakeholders in alignment with goals.
Recruitment Strategy: Create a recruitment plan focused on domestic (international as assigned) recruitment efforts; specific focus on US boarding schools and globally focused high schools. Collaborate with admission colleagues to identify and conduct college fairs, high school visits, admission workshops, virtual options, and aligned recruitment events. Participate and support campus visit events.
Enrollment Processes: Align with the Division of Enrollment Management on processes for lead generation, application generation, follow-up, admission review, scholarships, financial aid, yield efforts, and course registration.
Coordination of IDM Scholarship Process and Selection: Collaborate with Enrollment Systems and Operations and Financial Aid to develop a process and execute in support of meeting enrollment goals.
Performance Measurement and Reporting: Utilize metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track pipeline development, inquiry generation, and enrollment rates, providing regular reports on progress and outcomes to inform strategic decision-making.
Prospective Student Advising: Effectively work with potential students to understand their career and educational goals related to the International Degree Program.
Leadership: Serve as a member of the Associate Director leadership team within Enrollment Management. Serve as a liaison to the Center for Global Education for the Global Degree program. Engage with the CGE director and staff through regular and active communication to collaborate on benchmarks in enrollment and student services. Serve as a participant on Global Degree program workstreams, as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
Valid passport
Valid U.S Driver’s License
Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in college admission, enrollment management, high school guidance/college counseling environment, strategic relationship development or related field
Experience in international markets and recruitment
Entrepreneurial mindset to build enrollment pipelines in this brand-new model of education
Experience developing and leading high-growth enrollment strategies
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to inform strategic initiatives and optimize outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and enthusiastically to diverse stakeholders and audiences in large or small group formats, both in-person and virtual
Experience in leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Demonstrated commitment to results and accountability, with a proactive approach to problem- solving and a focus on achieving measurable outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.
Experience working in CRM database systems
Ability to travel approximately 10-15 weeks each year
Ability to work weeknights and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree and/or certifications in related field of study
Knowledge of PeopleSoft and/or Slate
Understanding of required international documents and immigration
Experience in working collaboratively and proactively in higher education
Past collaborations or familiarity with US boarding schools and/or high schools with a global focus
