OnCourse Student Success Coordinator

The OnCourse Student Success Coordinator in Undergraduate Education coordinates back-end training and development for student success outreach in OnCourse, the student success platform and mobile application. This will include assisting with enterprise-level implementation of third-party and team-built student success technologies. With direction from the OnCourse Program Manager, identifies student success opportunities and cross-campus collaboration, implements student success outreach, trains and communicates with students, staff, and faculty, provides training, and creates and updates documentation to support OnCourse users. Under direction of the OnCourse Program Manager, collaborates with EAB and peers across the university to help implement tools and improve staff, faculty, and student satisfaction with the online platform and mobile app. Provides moderate technical support, some organizational change management, training, and communications to OnCourse stakeholders, especially to students.

Assists with the planning and implementation of technical changes to the platform and mobile app. Assists students with technical issues and questions and escalates bugs and unsolvable issues to EAB to identify resolutions. Monitors app usage and helps with assessment and optimization of the mobile app to improve the student experience. Helps plan and deploy new functionality as needed. Assists with managing staff and faculty users, verifying training requirements are completed, etc. Helps design and build online modules, videos, presentations, and documents for end-user trainings. Provides in-person/virtual trainings to users and units, as necessary. Assists with messaging and creating consistent communications about any updates or changes for OnCourse stakeholders, as well as regular, routine reminders of functionality.

Contributes to planning of student success projects. Researches, implements, and helps coordinate student outreach to target populations, such as first-generation students, to support Undergraduate Education success goals. Creates and monitors progress report campaigns, enrollment campaigns, and other Undergraduate Education success campaigns. Collaborates with the Central Academic Advising team to support advising and student success projects and student outreach as necessary. Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2 years of relevant experience required.

Desired:

2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $19.09 - $25.10/hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
