Responsibilities

Are you passionate about horses and ready to dive into a fun-filled role? As our Equine Care Extraordinaire, you’ll be the superhero of the stable, ensuring our fabulous equines are well-fed, happy, and healthy! You’ll also get to flex your maintenance skills while keeping our facility looking top-notch. If you love spending time with these majestic creatures and thrive in a lively environment, we want you on our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Feed the Fabulous: Whip up delicious meals for our equine friends, following the tasty recipes provided by your supervisor.

Routine Rockstar: Keep our equines on their daily schedules, ensuring they’re living their best lives!

Behavior Detective: Keep an eye out for any quirky changes in behavior and report them to our equine experts. Your observations are key!

Medical Marvel: Help manage any health hiccups in the herd and follow care instructions like a pro.

Training Sidekick: Assist the Barn Manager with exciting development plans, including lunging and groundwork. Get ready to learn and grow!

Turnout Champion: Safely turn our horses in and out, giving them the freedom to roam and play.

Cleanliness Crusader: Keep turnouts, paddocks, and fields spick and span. A clean space makes for happy horses!

Tidy Up Time: Maintain a sparkling clean environment by sprucing up stalls, aisles, the tack room, feed room, and bathrooms. A tidy barn is a happy barn!

Weather Wizard: Blanket or un-blanket our equines based on the weather—because comfort is key!

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Minimum three (3) consecutive years’ working with equines required.

Previous stable hand experience preferred.

Salary is $16.80-$21.84 per hour based on education and experience.
