Position Description:
The E-J team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estimating Administrator/Coordinator with electrical experience. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless execution of the preconstruction process by managing bid documentation, coordinating with software systems, and maintaining accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, familiarity with construction processes, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Maintain the Bid Tracking report by ensuring accurate tracking of all bids and proposals
Download and organize all bid documents, ensuring proper folder structure within E-J’s systems
Collaborate with estimators, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
Prepare bid submission packages (i.e., Bonds, Letters of Surety, Bid Bonds)
Assist in preparing and distributing internal reports on bid progress and outcomes Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of working experience in the construction space is a plus
Experience with construction-specific software
Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
