• Job Title: Hybrid Cloud Architect • No. of Vacancies: 1 • Department: Engineering Web Services • Location: SSFB / Colorado Springs / In-Person • Clearance Level: Secret • Salary: 140,000 – 160,000 • Start Date: 2 June 2025 Essential Duties: Responsible for providing engineering and technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation to include designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions that support mission system and multiple customers. • - Designing scalable and secure cloud solutions that align with DoD requirements • - Ensuring computing environments meeting existing security requirements • - Working matrixed with developers, administrators, and network engineers to optimize workflows • - Deploy and manage virtual networks, compute resources, and cloud-based storage • - Implement automation and optimization tools in a multi-cloud environment utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code tools • - Identifying, communicating, and mitigating risks associated with data solutions • - Advise leadership and customers on cloud strategies, tools, and best practices • - Develop solutions architectures and evaluate architectural alternatives for hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services • Essential Experience: At least 5 years of direct experience in cloud engineering. AWS GovCloud experience is a plus. • Essential Qualifications / Certifications: Basic Requirements:

- 7 years of directly related experience in technical architecture and design in complex IT environments.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM or engineering discipline required.

- Knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, scalability)

- Knowledge of and experience in deploying capabilities to DoD Cloud Service Providers

- Executive communication skills

Desired Requirements:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect

- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

- CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+)

- Experience with Secure Cloud Computing Architecture

- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation

- Agile development experience and leadership with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence

- Experience with one or more languages; Python, C/C++, Java, Javascript, Bash, Ansible, PowerShell

- Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related STEM or engineering discipline.

- Experience with virtualization tools such as VMWare, OpenShift

- Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
