Cyber Security Manager

Description We are extending an opportunity for a Cyber Security Manager in the Real Estate & Property industry, based in Reston, Virginia.

This role encompasses leadership of an Information Security Red Team program, integrating security considerations into IT solutions, and managing a team of information security professionals.

Responsibilities: u2022 Develop, lead, and execute an Information Security Red Team program, including the recruitment and training of team members.

u2022 Collaborate with IT and business leaders to ensure security considerations are integrated into the evaluation, selection, implementation, and configuration of IT solutions.

u2022 Represent cybersecurity interests in significant technology governance initiatives.

u2022 Oversee operations of threat and vulnerability management, recommend mitigation strategies, and effectively communicate residual risks.

u2022 Regularly assess and document the effectiveness of key security controls.

u2022 Mentor and manage a group of information security professionals, including the recruitment and onboarding of new staff.

u2022 Prepare and deliver reports to management on departmental activities, key initiatives, and performance metrics.

u2022 Utilize skills such as Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Firewall Technologies, AB Testing, Auditing, AWS Technologies, and Configuration Management to enhance cybersecurity operations.

Requirements u2022 Proven experience in the Real Estate & Property industry.

u2022 Previous role as a Cyber Security Manager or similar position.

u2022 Proficiency in Checkpoint security solutions.

u2022 Experience with Cisco ASA and other Cisco Technologies.

u2022 Familiarity with Cloud Technologies and their security aspects.

u2022 Understanding of Firewall Technologies and their application.

u2022 Knowledge of AB Testing procedures.

u2022 Experience in Auditing, preferably in a cybersecurity context.

u2022 Proficiency in AWS Technologies.

u2022 Expertise in Configuration Management.

u2022 Strong Cyber Security skills with the ability to develop and implement security strategies.
