Primary Talent Partners has a new HR representative opportunity available with our large healthcare client in Round Lake, IL.
This is a full-time W2 contract assignment with a 4-6 month duration.
Pay: $33/hr - $38/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits.
ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule: M - F, fully on-site Description: This position will be a key player in driving employee engagement for our client’s Round Lake Drug Delivery Manufacturing Facility.
This role is responsible for payroll, leaves administration, supporting employee relations, and interpreting HR policies.
Weekly Payroll and Compensation • Review, correct, and approve weekly payroll.
Support employees and managers with payroll questions and issues.
• Support Annual Compensation Review process; conduct bi-annual compensation review Employee Relations • Support employee investigations and resolutions to issues • Partner with managers and complete disciplinary actions • Primary HR contact for Penicillin leaders and employees • Coordinate leave of absences and accommodation requests Employee Engagement • Proactively communicate with employees and managers regarding HR policies, practices, and key HR programs • Lead all aspects of exit survey interviews and identify ways to improve employee listening strategies • Support new employee orientation.
Collect I9 documentations and process Workday Additional Responsibilities: • Run monthly and ad hoc reports for site leaders • Process Workday tasks.
Lead title standardization project • Be part of interview panels • Additional duties as assigned What you'll bring: • No Cephalosporin or Penicillin allergies • 1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with a focus on payroll, benefits, or HR administration • Proficient in HRIS systems and payroll software • Strong written and verbal communications • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities • Flexibility to meet employee needs who work in a 5-day, 3-shift operation • Navigate the organization to find right solution and know when to raise issues to others for guidance • Take initiative with little direction • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Advanced Excel preferred) Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
